  1. Remove the tube and clamp holding the tube in place (shown above).

  2. Test install the unit. Once an optimal position is found, remove the device to connect the hose provided by Mobius to the FirstDrops™ device.

  3. Save the existing hose and any barbed fittings. It is best to leave it with the hotel representative or with the toilet.

  4. Connect the tube to the device by connecting it to the open barbed fitting called the Device Inlet.

  5. Install the device on the overflow tube. It can be inserted in a cylindrical overflow tube.

  6. Connect the other end of the tube provided with FirstDrops™ to the barbed fitting on the fill valve.

4. Testing your connection

  1. Quickly press the mode button on the device to ensure that the device is connected to the network. Make sure you have a connection and follow the steps to Test the Internet Connection if needed.

  2. When the device lights have turned off for > 10 sec, the device is ready for water testing. Flush once and ensure that no moving parts of the flush interfere with the device.

  3. Also check for overspray of water. The outlet of the device should deliver water in the golf tee. It should not spray water on the device or out of the toilet.

  4. Flush at least two more times to ensure smooth flushes. This will also generate initial room data on the server.

  5. After all of the lights have stopped flashing for > 10 sec, press the mode button one last time and put the lid back on after seeing a proper connection.

  6. This will push the data to the server. It should be visible within approximately five minutes.
